Hippolytus, and The Bacchae (Dodo Press)

Hippolytus, and The Bacchae (Dodo Press) - Euripides I blame translation. And history.I meant so in that translating ancient greek is a thankless and hopeless task to some extent, and history has programmed us to not find the devices here new to us, as they've been copies thousands of times before our births. I suspect I'll reread these someday with better translations, but for now, I didn't enjoy them.
